Roof Lanterns

Westbury Roof Lanterns are structural masterpieces. Clean lines and symmetry create incredible architectural impact when viewed from inside and out. Our Lanterns are designed with correct proportion with consideration being given to depth of shelf, beam dimension and hip shape. The result is an impressive, balanced design.

We support architects and contractors with a full in-house design service which includes detailed working drawings and 1:20 kerb detail drawings for site.

We manufacture using knot-free engineered timber for its durability and stability. Our Lanterns can be made to any size and pitch, and we offer a full in-house design service with prompt turnaround.

Small details make a big difference. For example, our finials are made from resin, which means they will last forever, as opposed to solid timber which, from our experience, may split over time and could cause ingress of water. We use external aluminium cladding that is powder coated to match the roof cappings making it maintenance free.

Glazing is 4-16-4 toughened clear, argon filled sealed units with Low E coating and warm edge spacer bar as standard. Optional laminated, self-cleaning or solar reflective glass is available.

We offer a variety of decorative cornice to internal aperture and optional curved hips with cock bead. Ventilation is provided from top-hung sash, operated electronically with auto controls.
