Listed stable block refurbishment
The stable block is set on the grounds of a stunning rural Essex country club, which is also used as a wedding venue. The owners wanted to convert the currently unused outbuildings into additional guest bedrooms.
Cottage Style New Build
Developers building this cottage style property in rural Wiltshire were keen to design a home that would fit into its environment. They specified a combination of casement windows, French doors and a characterful entrance door.
Listed rebuild in London
As part of a major rebuild of this grade II listed building, we refurbished the original front door and replaced all of the sliding sash windows of the Zetter Townhouse – a boutique hotel in the heart of Marlyebone.
This new build country home in Sussex required a complete range of timber windows and doors throughout. Westbury Window & Joinery Ltd was selected as the preferred supplier, chosen for their traditionally designs that gave authentic sightlines and depth of proportion required for the recessed Georgian style of fenestration.
The owners of this Victorian house where in need of replacing the original windows with like-for-like product that would comply with local guidelines & suit the period of property. A traditionally styled Box Sash Window was recommended & specified. Each window was made-to-measure to suit the existing aperture.
The homeowners of this listed building needed to replace their timber windows, doors and conservatory. They chose Westbury because of our experience in gaining listed building consent and our ability to create bespoke items.
Casement windows & doors in Hertfordshire
This thatched cottage situated in rural Hertfordshire received a full renovation including an extension. The property owner’s aim was to give this cottage a warm, contemporary feel, whilst retaining its welcoming period appeal. The property also required a Westbury timber entrance door, rear door and French doors with side lights.
Windows & orangery in Dorset
The project’s aim was to give this Dorset family home a lift from its rather outdated drab 1940’s look. The home owner required a new family room leading from and opening up the kitchen. An orangery design was submitted and built, reflecting the style of glazing bar to the new windows and matching in colour.
Contemporary timber windows & door
The architect specified a modern sliding door system which has been used across all three floors. These feature ‘lift and lock’ mechanics that allow the user to safely lock the door system in the closed position or at any open position.
